入籍美国，按照翻译理解叫做“归化”(Naturalization)，专门指那些在外国出生，但通过入籍程序成为公民的人士。外籍人士想要通过入籍成为美国公民，必须要满足一些具体的要求，同时需要经过一些“归化”的手续。美国移民局修订入籍考试，2020年施行。

美国入籍考试修订

公民和移民服务局(USCIS)正在修改当前的入籍考试，并确保其作为入籍申请人的公民知识的准确测试。

USCIS表示，修改的目标是创建一个有意义，统一，高效的考试，评估申请人对美国历史，政府和价值观的认识和理解。

2018年12月，来自USCIS机构的部分成员组成了入籍考试修订工作组。

工作组一直在审查和更新入籍试题。

工作组还将评估考试的发言部分的潜在变化。

公民及移民服务局正在征求成人教育领域专家的意见，以确保这一过程公平透明。

在仔细分析试点和全面的官员培训后，USCIS将实施日期设定在2020年12月或2021年初。

“移民和国籍法”第312条概述了英语语言和公民入籍的要求。

根据法律，入籍候选人必须具有

“......对英语的理解，包括用英语进行阅读，写作和说话的能力......”和“......对历史基础知识的理解，以及美国政府的原则和形式......“

此考试修订将符合所有法定和监管要求，USCIS将在今年秋季试行。

根据移民局说法，每次公布的入籍考题都是和50个州的中学和高中协商后所制定，而且最少必须有60%的通过率。
